A clump forming perennial with slender stems to 1.5m tall where I found it growing on steep stony slopes, producing whirls of banjo-shaped lilac-purple and white lipped spotted flowers from July to October on stems clothed with softly hairy narrow pointed leaves. spread 60cm. Easily grown in full sun or part shade in any fertile drained soil.
