Description:
A remarkably showy lily as its name implies, that we collected from the south of Shikoku Island Japan as seed in 1997. Where it favoured growing in light shade on steep banks and cliffs, forming arching stems 1-1.3m long. With terminal branching inflorescences of reflexed pink centred flowers, in predominately white, red and suffused carmine pink at the base with spotting of carmine. Very adaptable in pots or in the garden in a well drained soil. July-August.
