Description: A puzzling collection gathered from a species growing as an epiphyte, one of several species of dogwood we collected seed of in 2003, from on and around the surprisingly cold Fansipan, the highest mountain in the north of Vietnam. Where it only formed a small wiry specimen in a single location at 2050m, with very small orbicular scaly fruit and ovate foliage. Will grown in any kind of fertile moisture retentive soil with good drainage.
