Description: An old cultivar which was already in our garden when we moved to Crûg, considered to be the best form of this Chinese species introduced by Ernest Wilson in 1901. Only forming a dainty small arching shrub with small ovate leaves, which produces an abundance of 2-2.5 cm wide white flowers that are pink tinted on the outsides in May-June. Easily grown in any type of drained fertile soil in sun or part shade.
