Description: A species we discovered near to Szuyuan village in Ilan County, North Taiwan in 1996. Where it only formed a small scandent/climbing species to only to a few meters tall in the wild, with slender ternate foliage. Bearing axillary cymes of dark yellow pendant flowers with thick textured sepals, August-October. Best grown in sun to part shade in a fertile soil with plenty of added humus. A recent collection with Finlay Colley gathered in 2007.
