Description: A collection from an unusual location, in the experimental forest on the unstable Phoenix Mountain, Central Taiwan. Where this rhizomatous perennial grew on very steep sopping wet banks at the edge of the forest, with flexuous stems of spotted leaves to 1m long bearing terminal corymbs of white flowers with yellow-tinged throats, spotted pale purplish-pink. Easily grown in sun or part-shade in a moisture retentive fertile drained soil.
