Description:
A selection of our earliest flowering form of this species which is unfortunately more often than not misrepresented by hybrids in cultivation. Forming 30-60cm long stems with the upper leaves clasping, bearing terminal and axillary widely open purple-pink spotted, white flowers late May-August. Easily cultivated in a rich humusy drained soil in part shade. One of our collections from an alpine forest on Honshu Japan in 1998.
