Description:
Our collection from 2002 from near Num on the Arun River in Eastern Nepal, with Dan Hinkley. Where this species was fairly common in the dense forest at 2000m, with upright woolly stems 60-100cm tall. Bearing clasping grey black-speckled leaves and broad terminal cymes of widely open purple blotched, white flowers. Best grown in humus rich well drained soil in part shade.
