Description:
A medium to large sized species with strong stems of oblong dark green leaves 15-20cm long bearing sizeable trusses of rose pink bell shaped flowers spotted reddish brown on their interiors, May to June. From one of our collections made in the company of Dan Hinkley when he was introducing us to the Pacific Northwest of the USA in 2003. Best grown in a lime free soil that is drained while able to hold some moisture, in a well lit to sunny site, very hardy. **** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** These plants are only supplied as open ground/bare-rooted plants, the pot size given is for the purpose of calculating carriage only.
