Pot Size: 1 litre (deep)
Description: From a small bulb a slender upright stem carries a whirl of distinctly mottled (when young) oblong-oblanceolate leaves, not too dissimilar to some Paris in foliage, topped with dark orange irregularly red spotted flowers June-September. A beautiful and long flowering woodland species we collected in South Korea from Chungkye-Ri near the west coast on our second expedition to the country in 1997. Growing in woodland conditions which were well drained, but with moisture retentive soil. Best grown in cool acidic-neutral soils.
