Description: A long cultivated pan-European perennial arising from stout slowly creeping rhizomes soon forming clumps to 60cm. wide. Forming arching stems 50-100cm long of alternate leaves, bearing axillary clusters, during May and June of long white bell like flowers which typically recurved at their green tips. Easily grown in part-full shade in a well drained fertile soil with some moisture retention during the growing period in spring.
