Description:
An elegant largish evergreen shrub sometimes seen as a small tree in the wild 3-3.5m tall clad with bright green ovate leaves. This collection represents a form we collected seed of in the area of Armenia, in the Cordillera Occidental Colombia at 3300m. With ovate thick-textured mid green foliage with impressed venation above, with wide cymes of small white flowers, followed by large orbicular black fruit. Best grown in a sheltered site in a drained fertile soil in full sun protected from severe cold.
