Buddleja cf. paniculata species nova - GWJ9286

Pot Size: 4 litre
Price: £30.00
Although plentiful in the area we collected the seed of this wonderfully silvery species deep in the Lachen Valley in northern Sikkim, on our way back from the Chinese border in 2002. This species had not been collected or described before. In the wild it formed large much branched shrubs with silvery long pointed ovate foliage held on rounded white stems. With long inflorescences held terminally and in the apical axils, which had held the long tubed white-yellow sweetly scented flowers widely flared at their throats which are a deep yellow-orange on their interiors. Forming a medium sized shrub for us preferring full sun in a freely drained soil with some moisture retention. Flowering July - September
