Description: A species that grows at the highest elevation within this group, which have an additional whirl of leaflets. Found growing on the upper slopes of Fansipan which is the highest mountain in northern Vietnam and surrounding area. Where it formed a large shrub to 4 m tall with larger than normal leaflets to 30 cm long on red stalks and petioles, complimented by very large panicles of small black round fruit in umbels. Best grown in a fertile soil that is well drained in sun or light shade, protect from freezing winds and severe frost when young.
