Description:
Originating from seed we collected high in the eastern Himalayas in 2013, from a sizeable colony growing in a damp area at 2,900m. A relatively short perennial species to only 90cm tall, with reniform triangular to ovate in outline basal leaves, up to 15cm across and coarsely toothed. With conspicuous short flowering stems on dark upright stems adorned with plenty (to 50) of yellow ray flowers subtended by narrow bracts, July-September. Easily grown in any fertile soil that does not get too dry, in sun or shade.
