Description:
One of the most distinct species, producing a bare stem, to 80cm in the best forms, topped by a whirl of (10-22) very narrow pointed green leaves. This in turn topped by an amazing green 'flower', with sepals equally as wide as the leaves. Later developing into a green ribbed capsule, splitting to reveal red fruit. Well drained acid-neutral leafy soil, full-part shade.
