Description:
From seed we collected near Lachung in Eastern Sikkim in 2002, a semi-evergreen shrub, forming fresh arching branches annually, purple-haired to 2m long. Bearing luxurious pleated trifoliate long-ovate pointed leaves, silvery-white below dark green above .With white flowers in terminal loose panicles August-September, followed by bright-red fruit. Shelter from the coldest winds.
