Description:
From high altitude on Da Xue Shan South Sichuan, China at 4200m, my collection made with Dan Hinkley. Of this diminutive species of a remarkably hardy genera, from a deeply delving taproot forming a rosette of prostrate ovoid leaves which become more lobed with age. Possessing stiffly upright short stems elongating to 30cm, bearing a single flamboyant bright pink trumpet flower, widely flared at the mouth. Best grown in a sunny very well drained position.
