Pot Size: 20 litre
Description: This represents our original collection from when Sue and I first discovered a real honey-pot location in the far north of northern Vietnam close to the border with China in the autumn of 2006. The seed was collected from lanky trees 7-8m tall with oblong-elliptic really dark green stiff thick textured leaves to 30cm long, smooth on the upper surface, bronzy silky haired below. The seed were in terminal spikes of small capsules, these had succeeded the yellow bowl shaped scented flowers borne in late spring to early summer. Best grown in sun to light shade in a freely draining soil with good moisture retention out of freezing winds. 40lt container.
